Scope:

The following article will show you how to disable the SIP ALG setting on a Sophos XG Firewall.

Requirements:

• CLI access to the Sophos XG Firewall

Disabling SIP ALG

The administrator can disable the SIP module by following the steps below:

1. Log in to the CLI using Telnet or SSH. You can also access the CLI from admin > Console in the upper right corner of the Admin Console screen.
2. Choose option 4. Device Console.
3. Run the following command:
   
   console> system system_modules sip unload
   
   
    
4. To confirm the status, run the following command:
   
   console> system system_modules show
